Pathways Adolescent Recovery Program is open. The facility hosted a community open house Friday, Oct. 12.Pathways is an adolescent outpatient substance treatment center serving youth 12 to 18 years of age with a primary alcohol or drug problem. General office hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. The phone number is 945-2614.

Bob Young, chairman of Alpine Banks, recently received the “Spirit of Lionism” award from the Glenwood Springs club. Young was recognized for his many contributions to Glenwood Springs and other Alpine Bank communities. The Lions Club believes he is highly representative of the Lions’ beliefs and motto, “We serve.”
