Sweet little Jennifer Springer of Rifle is celebrating 60 years of life and loving chocolate Nov. 16. Please join Jay Springer in the surprise celebration with munchies, music, good times and chocolate at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at Rivers Restaurant, 2525 S. Grand Ave. in Glenwood Springs.

Kevin Warkentin of Glenwood Springs graduated from the Navy recruit training center in Great Lakes, Ill., Oct. 26, 2007. He is currently at the Navy Nuclear Power Training Center in Charleston, S.C., studying nuclear engineering.Kevin graduated from Glenwood Springs High School in 2007, and is the son of Jack and Cindy Warkentin of Glenwood Springs.



Lin Claussen, daughter of Jack and Betty Lane of Bailey, married Mike Stickler, son of Jim and Lois Stickler of Carmel, Calif., Sept. 29, 2007, at Sunlight Mountain Resort in Glenwood Springs.The couple will honeymoon in San Francisco in December.Lin and Mike are currently living in Glenwood Springs, where Mike is a retired teacher and coach of 30 years, and Lin is employed as an executive vice president of Colorado Mountain College.
