More on the giant pumpkin story

The pumpkin that Lindsay Rachesky won from the New Castle Cafe is residing at Rivers Restaurant. The 172.5-pound beauty was carved by general manager Anita Wan, and is on display at the hostess station at the restaurant, at 2525 S. Grand Ave. in Glenwood Springs.

Stan Rachesky donated the pumpkin after Lindsay won it, because it is too large to keep at Lindsay’s home. When Rachesky asked whether the restaurant would display the pumpkin, Rivers was more than happy to oblige.

Go by Rivers Restaurant and see the giant pumpkin, and maybe snap a picture. It is quite a sight!
