Magnuson turns 80

Ted Magnuson will turn 80 on Wednesday, May 19. He has been in the valley since 1967 with Donna, his wife, sons Stan and Scott, daughter Sonja and her husband John. He also has two grandchildren, Christopher and Angelica. His family is hoping that Ted gets a bunch of birthday cards this year, and that readers will take a minute to send him one:

Bennett takes secondin state poster contest

Chelsea Bennett’s poster won first place in the Tar Wars No Smoking contest at Sopris Elementary School. Chelsea went on to compete at the state level and took second place in a field of 8,400 entries.
