Party like a pioneer to help Columbine Home Health Care
Columbine Home Health Care assists clients with a variety of needs including medication, pain control, diabetic teaching, wound care and case management. Home health aides assist patients with joint replacement rehabilitation, stroke/neurological rehabilitation, home safety and management. Occupational therapists assist patients with dressing, meal preparation, and home safety. Speech therapy assists patients with communication, and medical social workers assist patients and families in planing for long-term care, financial arrangements guidance and counseling.The agency also offers a series of senior wellness clinics. Columbine Home Health Inc. is sponsoring a fundraiser, which includes a reception, dinner, contra dance and silent and live auctions, from 6-11 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, at The Barn at the Colorado Rocky Mountain School in Carbondale. Everyone is invited to “Party like the Pioneers.”Dinner will be provided by chef Jim Nadell, owner-operator of Conundrum Catering. The menu includes assorted appetizers, Western Cowboy Buffet, and fresh assorted pies donated by Village Inn.
