MOPS meeting
The Two Rivers MOPS group will be meeting from 9-11:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 6. All moms of preschoolers and expecting mothers are invited to come out for fun, fellowship, speakers, food and more. This week’s speaker is Bo Helmich, speaking on “Growing Simplicity in your Home.” Meetings every 1st, 3rd and 5th Friday of the month. Child care is provided for children up to kindergarten age.
Intro to Core Transformation class
Free introduction to Core Transformation, 3-5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, presented by Barb Kimberlie Chenoweth at Transitions, 1322 Grand Ave., Glenwood Springs. Core Transformation is a powerful resource for personal growth and healing. This step-by-step process transforms unwanted behaviors, feelings, and thoughts. Another Glenwood Springs City Council election has passed, but we doubt about two-thirds of Glenwood residents even noticed — certainly not based on the pathetic 31% turnout in balloting that concluded April 6.
