The group meets at 6:30 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month beginning April 1 at the Glen Valley Care & Rehab Center at 2305 Blake Avenue. Information: Ken Most or Sue McKinstry, 945-5476.Community Health FairsValley View Hospital is sponsoring a health fair 7 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 17, at the Valley View medical office building, 1830 Blake Ave. Another health fair will be held 7 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 24 at Riverside Middle School, 804 W. Main, New Castle. Both will have free health education booths, blood chemistry analysis ($30), prostate specific antigen ($25) and colorectal kits ($5). Do not eat 12 hours before having blood drawn, drink water, continue to take prescribed medications as directed. Diabetics should not fast, you must be 18 to participate. Blood will also be drawn for analysis 7-10 a.m. Saturday, April 3, at the VVH Cancer Center, 1830 Blake Ave., Suite 205.
