The National Wild Turkey Federation Bookcliff Longbeards of Garfield County invite you to a social at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, at the Glenwood Canyon Brewpub, in the poolroom. They will discuss the upcoming banquet and other exciting matters involving turkeys in Garfield County.

Party like a pirate



The valley’s own rock ‘n’ roll heroes, the Bottomfeeders, will be center stage as Glenwood’s 19th St. Diner celebrates its 18th birthday from 8 p.m. to midnight on Friday, Nov. 21. It’s a Pirates of the Caribbean themed bash; peg legs and parrots are optional.

Rifle class in Silt

A two-day Colorado Division of Wildlife rifle hunting education course will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, and Sunday, Nov. 23, at the Silt Fire Department (231 N. 7th St.). Preregistration is required; call Judy at 625-9553. Kids 12 and under must have a guardian or parent attend. Cost is $10.

Eagles’ Christmas Boutique

The Glenwood Springs Eagles Auxiliary will be holding its yearly Christmas Boutique from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6. Vendors’ deadline is Nov. 28. Information/reservations: 379-4571 or 945-6004.
