Construction company working on streets

Grand River Construction will be patching and crack-sealing streets starting Wednesday, May 19. Work will start on North Midland and go south towards 8th Street, and South Blake Avenue from East 29th Street south to Highway 82. There will be delays for traffic between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Flaggers will be present.

Chip-sealing on Glenwood Springs streets

GMCO will be chip-sealing Midland Avenue, South Grand Avenue and South Blake Avenue Wednesday and Thursday, May 19-20. There will be traffic delays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Flaggers will be present. Drivers will need to be cautious to prevent broken windshields. On Tuesday and Wednesday, May 25-26, the contractor will sweep and seal the streets.

Bed and breakfast raising money for restoration project

Four Mile Creek Bed and Breakfast, five miles up Four Mile Road on the way to Sunlight, invites the public to its inaugural Spring Thing garden celebration from 1-7 p.m. Friday, May 21 and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 22.
