The Kiwanis Club of Glenwood Springs would like to thank Dennis and Lynn Bader of the Flower Mart for again inviting our members to deliver flowers on Valentine’s Day. This is the third year that Kiwanis members delivered flowers on Valentine’s Day for the Flower Mart. The Flower Mart generously donated to the Kiwanis Club of Glenwood Springs the delivery fee for each delivery the club members made. This was an outstanding fund-raiser for the club. The money raised by the club on Valentine’s Day will be used for club projects.

Thanks Dennis and Lynn,

Joe O’Donnell

First and foremost, thanks to all the contestants and their parents for participating in the annual Elks Hoop Shoot contest. Congratulations to everyone and good luck to our local winners when they compete in future Hoop Shoot competitions.

A special thanks to the Pro Shop for providing the great trophies, to the Print Works for printing our flyers and to the sports department at the Post Independent for all the sports briefs that announced the contest.

Last, but not least, a huge thank you to the 25 Elks members who volunteered their time to make our local hoop shoot so successful.

Sincerely,

George Dana
