Readers say thanks

I’d like to extend my thanks to an officer on the Aspen PD who, as he is certified in Child Restraint installation, took time out of his day off to help me wrestle with the frustrating mechanics of the all-too-complicated new carseats out there now.

Joe Holman, thank you for saving my sanity and for being so knowledgeable and patient.

As it’s so easy to install these seats incorrectly, I encourage other fire, police, and sheriff departments ” especially downvalley ” to train a staff member and offer the service of checking whether some of us clueless parents have done it right.

I’m all for keeping our little ones as safe as possible on the roads, and Joe Holman deserves a big thanks for helping so many of us keep our babies and toddlers snug in their seats, and seats snug in their seats!
