Readers Say Thanks

Colorado Bright Beginnings and Family Visitor Programs wishes to thank a small group of dedicated volunteers who make home visits to new parents from Aspen to Parachute bringing new parents a bag of resources and gifts to enhance their parenting.

The volunteer visits to parents of newborns offer information on health, safety, child care, community resources, brain development and more. Their visits to 12- to 24-month-old toddlers present a package promoting language development. Our experienced mothers and child development volunteers Tracy, Katie, Sally, Kerri, Barbra, Jan and Cristina provide expertise and friendship to those they visit.

To our hat maker, Gloria, our bag decorator, Laurie, and to all our wonderful baby blanket makers at MOPS, we give a special thank-you.

To all our volunteers, thank you so much for supporting the new parents of this Valley.

For those interested in volunteering or receiving a visit, contact Family Visitor Programs at 945-1234.
