Readers say thanks
We would like to express our appreciation and joy to everyone who helped with and participated in the sixth annual Dandelion Day last Saturday in Sopris Park. We are amazed with the creative efforts of the parade-goers, and the enthusiasm of the crowd was overwhelming. Specifically, we would like to thank RFTA and everyone who rode the bus, the many vendors and nonprofits, the Shirt Stop, Alpine Bank, the Woody Creek Tavern, the Aspen Thrift Store, Novel-Tea Bookstore, the Village Smithy, Peppino’s, KDNK, Solar Energy International, all of the Main Street businesses, Carbondale Copy Center, the Carbondale Recreation Department and Environmental Board members (past and present), Vicki (bake-off) Brown, the anonymous soul who decorated Main Street with dandelions, Herb Green, and last, but definitely not least, Dr. (Dandelion) Phillip. Thanks again to everyone who made Dandelion/Earth Day such a success. Eat organic dandelions! Keep our planet healthy!
