On behalf of the City of Glenwood Springs Recreation Department, we would like to thank the Rotary Club of Glenwood Springs. Because of their generosity, we were able to purchase bicycle helmets. They were given to the children in need of helmets who attended the July 13 Trike and Bike Rally. This gave us the opportunity to discuss the importance of helmets and bike safety with kids and their parents.

Due to the Rotary Club’s kindness, more children in the community are now safe while riding their bikes.

The Roaring Fork Rams football players, recently back from yhe Manning Passing Academy in Louisiana, would like to thank all of those who supported our efforts.

First, we would like to thank our families for contributing funds for our camp experience. Our carwash fund-raiser was a success, thanks to our community of fans, and our fellow teammates and coaches who pitched in.

We are very grateful to the following businesses and individuals for their valuable contributions: Dos Gringos, TJ Concrete, La Fontana Plaza, Ace Hardware, Postnet, Royal Honda of New Orleans, John Hiltner, Jack and Earline Mathias, KDNK, the Post Independent and The Aspen Times.

We look forward to another great football season and your continued support is truly appreciated. Go Rams!
