The football staff at Rifle High School would like to take a moment to thank all of those who selflessly gave time and resources to help make the 2005 season such a success and contribute to the most successful two-year run in school history. Thanks to the many parents and community members who support us and give so much for their children, school personnel who forfeit an enormous amount of time (particularly during our playoff runs – an extra month for each of the past two seasons), and City Market for providing so much to our student/athletes during team dinners. There are so many individuals who offer so much to our program that it would be almost impossible to name everyone. However, those individuals combine to make Rifle such a great place and great supporter of our football program. Only with your help could we embark on the journey that brought back-to-back state championship football games to our town.Damon Wells and the Rifle High School Football Staff

Originally addressed to Chapter AO of P.E.O:It is with much gratitude that I send out this note of thanks to members of your organization. CMC Even Start Family Literacy was selected this year as the primary beneficiary for the proceeds of your annual Elegant Auction. The mission of Even Start is to help break the intergenerational cycle of poverty and illiteracy by providing a unified family literacy program for low-income families. The three goals of the program are to help parents improve their literacy skills, help parents become full partners in educating their children, and assist children in reaching their full potential as learners. We provide services in Rifle, Glenwood Springs and Carbondale. Our program and your organization share a commitment to empower women through education. In light of recent federal cuts, your contribution is of tremendous support.Thank you for your efforts on our behalf.Rebecca RulandEven Start directorGlenwood Springs
