This past weekend for the first time in Glenwood Springs, we had quality entertainment in the form of a combined show with Symphony in the Valley and The Danse Arts Theatre Co. To see dance performed with an accompanying symphony was nothing less than fabulous.

Congratulations to DeAnna Anderson, Claire Evans and Anne-Marie Kelley for their outstanding work, as well as to Marice Doll, Wendy Larson and John Bokram for the wonderful music.

With talent so prevalent in this valley, it is high time City Council get together to build our community a theater worthy of the talent that was displayed this past weekend.

The performance on Sunday afternoon was sold out, competing with the Bronco game! Our “little” community now has not only a symphony, but a dance company, thanks to the inspiration and vision of DeAnna Anderson and Claire Evans.
