Thank you, fans!I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of the people who traveled to Fort Collins to support the Roaring Fork Rams boys basketball team during the state tournament. It is truly impressive when a valley joins together as one to support the local hometown team and, I think I can speak for all the players, parents and coaches when I say that it was truly appreciated.I would also like to thank John Stroud and Phil Sandoval for their newspaper coverage throughout the season and to Ron Milhorn for his coverage on-air. The fans unable to travel to Fort Collins are so appreciative for the chance to catch the games on the radio. It was a great season.Gayla RaaflaubCarbondale

Although the members of the Glenwood Springs High School Track and Field team have yet to compete in an actual meet this season, the athletes and coaches have been successful in the area of fundraising for the program. During the first weeks of the season, Glenwood Springs and the surrounding community have been very generous in providing for the team and the annual spaghetti dinner/silent auction. We would like to thank all that have donated, beginning with Roaring Fork Rentals for our 2006 team T-shirts, and the Lundin family for their contribution as well. The dinner and auction could not have reached the level of success that it did without the assistance of the following businesses: City Market, Dr. Jay Heim DDS, Day Spa, Target, K-Mart, Cutting Loose, Gart Sports, Mancinelli’s, TayBen Transportation, Spruce It Up Landscaping, Kaleidoscoops, Russo’s Pizza, Glenwood Canyon Brewpub, Marble Slab Creamery, Clipper Vic’s, Chili’s, Dos Hombres, Performance Footwear, Big-O Tires, Hot Springs Athletic Club, Roaring Fork Outfitters, Starbucks, JH Chen Asian Bistro, Lowe’s, Factory Surplus, Cook a la Carte, Sunlight Mountain Resort, GSMS Art Department, Pine-Stone Company, Geno’s and Sopris Lighting. Thank you all very much for supporting our program and our outstanding student athletes.Blake Risner Glenwood Springs High School Track and Field
