Comcast Cares is a day when Comcast personnel nationwide work to improve their communities.A hardworking group of local Comcast employees and their families spent several hours at Sunnyside Retirement on Saturday, Oct. 7 raking,, painting the inside of our exterior doors and cleaning the trash area and parking lot. They then enjoyed a meal together before cleaning up and departing. How wonderful it was to see this corporate effort on a cool and rainy Saturday. Thanks to all of them for a job well done! On Sept. 23, 2006, Colorado Animal Rescue, Inc. hosted a fundraiser for our Spay/Neuter Program at the Elks Lodge in Glenwood Springs. Lots of families came by to visit and have a great spaghetti dinner with elegant homemade deserts. This annual Spay-ghetti No Balls Dinner has been extremely important as a means of continuing our ability to spay and neuter every animal at our facility. We would like to thank everyone who gave so generously of their dining space, their time, skills, products and appetites in support of this vital program.
