Readers Say Thanks

Glenwood Springs, CO Colorado

SOS Support Our Soldiers – Soldierwatch would like to extend a huge thank-you to everyone who has helped me over the past year, either with donations or helping me tie the yellow ribbons; I couldn’t do this without all of you.I would especially like to thank Gabe Chenoweth, owner of KMTS Radio Station, for always allowing me to come and talk about my mission on the radio. This reaches so many people who have stepped up to help me.I would like to thank Carol Gentry for the generous donations over the last year. I would also like to acknowledge the Cecil G. and Jessie L. Deardorff Memorial Trust for the generous donation on Dec. 21, 2006. What a blessing you are, Carol, to the community and to me especially. I could not have done the things I have done in the past year without your support. Last but not least, the Rifle Fire Protection District for their donation. Thank you so much. There are so many other people that have walked into Nola’s Ark and handed me $5 to $500. No matter the amount, I am truly grateful, every little penny helps and without your help, I would be at a standstill. With all the money that has been donated over the last year, I have sent a total of 20,500 letters to men and women serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. We have kept the yellow ribbons up for almost four years.Sincere thanks to all of you, too many to name names. Words cannot express my gratitude.Cathy MeskelSOS Support Our Soldiers – SoldierwatchRifle
