As the Basalt Recreation Department’s Instructional League Basketball comes to a close, I would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the many people who make this program a success.Thank you to all our volunteer coaches who spend their evenings and weekends teaching our players the game of basketball, driving them to games, and being mentors to the young athletes. Thanks to Steve Aitken, Charles Capobianco, Paul Gonzales, Bob Johnson, John Krueger, Gregg Mackey, Kimberly McClearly, Al Rakowski, Bill Reynolds, Jim Ryan, Lance Schoon, and Bill Toney. Your dedication is second to none.I would also like to thank our sponsors who provide funding that helps encourage a fun environment for the young players.
