Readers Say Thanks
My thanks to those citizens of Colorado and other states who took the time to stop by our car wash fundraiser for Coal Ridge High School football. Your donations will go a long way in aiding our fledgling program. Your donations provide food, drink, and in some cases, necessary equipment for our young men. God bless you all for your thoughtfulness. George Blocker, assistant coach Coal Ridge High School football program
The high school football players from Roaring Fork and Aspen, recently back from the Manning Passing Academy in Louisiana, would like to thank all of those who supported our efforts. First, we would like to thank our families for contributing funds for our camp experience. I would like to extend my thanks and gratitude to you, Cindy Carlisle, for not voting to fire Professor Ward Churchill. You have duly represented me in your district and have similarly upheld the First Amendment right to free speech – which is the supreme law of the land – until deemed otherwise. I applaud and support you for standing up against your fascist colleagues on the CU Board of Regents who wish nothing more that to extinguish the right to freedom of expression on the CU campus. I say impeach, remove and terminate all who voted to illegally fire a tenured professor at CU. You have duly earned the right to become the next president of CU in my opinion, Cindy. As a past longtime resident of Boulder and student at CU, I would like to extend my thanks and appreciation to all the students, professors and university officials who are standing up against this fascist police state here in Colorado.
