We returned from a month-long tour of Europe with the Sound of America Honor Band and Chorus July 23, 2007. We were selected to join the Honor Chorus for the tour. After the intense training with the choir, the 2007 Sound of America Honor Band and Chorus began our tour of Europe. Starting in Rothenberg, Germany, the group began a series of 14 concerts. From Germany, we traveled through Austria, Italy, Switzerland, France, and Luxembourg. As well as performing the concerts, we were able to tour world famous landmarks and explore each of the cities we visited. After one month with the Sound of America, we headed home. Before the long journey through Europe, we were faced with the difficult task of raising funds to cover the cost for the tour. Without the help of family, friends, and local businesses, the trip wouldn’t have been possible. Thank you to all of these supportive people and wonderful businesses that made our dream become a reality: Johnson Construction; A-1 Heating & Cooling, Inc.; Kristen L.
