By all accounts, the KDNK Blues and BBQ Fest last weekend was a smashing success and a fitting party to end the summer season. Thanks to the community for turning out and making the most of a beautiful day.Thanks to Big Daddy Lee and the Kingbees for the scorching blues and Hillstomp for the earthy, hillbilly blues.KDNK thanks El Horizonte for sharing their zesty ceviche recipe, The Kitchen Fine Catering for demonstrating braised short ribs and corn fritters and providing fresh coleslaw for 250 people and Ian Kipp from Ella’s Restaurant for educating us on marinades and meats.
