I’d like to publicly thank the Bradley Sinclair gas station in Glenwood Springs for not participating in the Labor Day price gouging collusion. They and the station across the street stayed under $3 per gallon, while everyone else from Carbondale to Parachute jacked up prices 25 cents per gallon.Henceforth, I’m doing my business at Bradley’s. The rest of the price-fixing parasites can kiss my rosy-red “expletive deleted.”Bruno KirchenwiczSilt

Glenwood Springs Middle School would like to express a heartfelt thank-you to several area businesses for partnering with us during our staff’s “Amazing Race.” We are thrilled to be part of such a great community that readily supports our kids and our schools. The Hotel Colorado, City Market, Hi-Point Motorsports, Roaring Fork Music, Bighorn Toyota, Glenwood Canyon Brew Pub, Dairy Queen, Russo’s Pizza, and the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park all should be acknowledged for their commitment to our community. We certainly appreciate your support.Brad Ray, principalJeremy Voss, assistant principalGlenwood Springs Middle School
