Readers say thanks
The Glenwood Springs High School wrestling team, coaches and the Brickell family would like to sincerely thank all of those who participated in the fourth annual Cody Brickell Miniature Golf Fundraiser to benefit the wrestling program. A special thanks to all those individuals and businesses in the community who came out and enjoyed the day with us, through silent auction purchases, food and rounds of golf. Thanks to those who gave so generously as hole sponsors, silent auction donors, food suppliers and advertisers. Also a heartfelt appreciation and thanks to Glenwood Insurance for the new mat, Pam Johnson at Johnson’s Park for allowing us the use of the miniature golf course and The Print Works for all the printing. The entire event was a great tribute in memory of Cody. The GSHS wrestling team, coaches and the Brickell familyGlenwood Springs
The Mount Sopris Historical Society would like to extend a hearty thanks to the community for its first Museum Week, during which more than 225 school children came to the historical museum for a fall field trip. There were talks, story readings, potato sack races, treats, and art projects, all with a focus on Carbondale’s historic past. The Aspen Spring Board provided a grant funding the project, and many teachers and volunteers made the week one to remember. The museum cabin was filled with the sound of kids laughing and talking while they learned about the early days of their community. Many thanks again to everyone who helped with this exciting project.Carol Klein, board memberMount Sopris Historical SocietyCarbondale
