Readers Say Thanks

Many thank-yous to the wonderful folks who took time from their schedules to send cards, make phone calls, drop food by my house and visit while I was in the ICU at Valley View Hospital. I don’t recall many (if any) of your visits because of the sedation, but I now know who you were. I am lucky to have such caring, high-quality people in my life. I’m now at home fighting to get stronger. Please feel free to call or drop by for a visit. To the staff at the ICU of Valley View Hospital – the professional and friendly care you gave me is without equal. The friendship you extended to me was and is most appreciated. I am grateful to each of you for taking the time to listen to my tales when I didn’t have a perfect voice. Once I got it back, I imagine I drove you all goofy. Thanks to everyone who reached out to help in such a wide variety of ways. Your acts of kindness towards me and my family have not been taken for granted and will always be close to my heart.Nick HurstGlenwood Springs
