The inaugural Great Family Trek held on April 26th was a huge success. It could not have been done without the help of the amazing volunteers, talented entertainers, and generous sponsors. Sopris and Medaris MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) would like to thank First United Methodist Church, Big O Tires, New Castle Diner, Bank of Colorado, Chomps Deli, Wal-Mart, Trinity Baptist Church, New Hope Church, Valley View Hospital, AmericInn, Jammin’ Jim, Mr. T’s Hardware, McDonald’s, Safeway, The Rat Pack, Flamingo Grill, Condon Construction, Nicole Crandell, Tim Fox, Kristin Foote, Sydney Hastings, the Dental Practice of Dr. Corey Johnson and Dr. Jay Heim, and all of the tireless volunteers and their families involved. The Great Family Trek would not have been the 5K & Family Fun Day it was without each and every one of your contributions. We were truly blessed with such a wonderful crew and sponsors. We had a wonderful time with all the families that visited throughout the day, and we are excited for another Great Family Trek/Family Fun Day next year.Audry Stutler, Medaris MOPSNew Castle
