I want to send a big thank-you to Dan LeVan Jr. and the American Legion for placing flags on veteran’s graves in Glenwood Springs cemetery. It is always comforting to see a flag on my husband’s gravesite honoring his service to our country. Thanks again.Dollie ThurstonGlenwood Springs

I want to thank all the nurses, doctors, emergency room staff at Valley View Hospital, the West Care Ambulance technicians, our daughter and my wife who helped me until the ambulance people came to take me to the hospital. I really appreciated the professionalism and kindness and caring of all the people who helped me on the road to recovery. The food was excellent, the nurses were very caring and it seemed a doctor was near at all times if there was a problem. And now that I am home, I still have help from the doctors and nurses, and am very thankful for everyone’s help and kindness to me. My heart is very thankful for all of you, and my best wishes to all. C. F. (Monk) DawsonNew Castle
