Readers Say Thanks

Dennis and Irma Crisp wish to thank the friends of our daughter, Janie Crisp, for your friendship and support during the 30 years she spent in the Roaring Fork School District as a librarian and as a citizen of the Glenwood Springs community. We appreciate your moral support during her worst times of illness. At times it seemed that her strength was being tested.A memorial service will soon be held in her hometown of Howard, Kan. Thanks again for your kindness on her behalf.Dennis and Irma CrispHoward, Kan.

I have often read letters to the editor in which people thank various members of the medical community for doing their jobs. I never fully understood why those letters were so meaningful until I was admitted to Valley View Hospital last Wednesday morning with chest pains. The team assigned to me not only did an excellent job medically, they were kind and considerate, and treated me as a person and not just a patient. Now I am joining those other letter-writers in thanking, in my case, Dr. Stahl, nurses Eric and James and EMT Danielle.I am very grateful for the care I received, and am now home recuperating from balloon angioplasty.Joan IsenbergGlenwood Springs
