Readers Say Thanks

Roaring Fork Family Resource Centers along with Dancing Colours Studio want to thank all the participants and supporters of the annual pumpkin carving contest in Carbondale. The Grand Prize winner was Cindy Noel of Carbondale, who won four tickets plus a parking pass to see the Avalanche play in Denver, compliments of Alpine Bank. Cindy’s pumpkin was a remarkable interpretation of Marie Antoinette crafted from two pumpkins.

Thanks to Alpine Bank, Russets, Carbondale Chamber of Commerce, Dos Gringos, Peppino’s, Phat Thai, The Village Smithy, Downtown Preservation Association, The Aspen Recreation Center and Jenny Johnson for their generous prize donations. A big thanks to our judges: Ro Mead, Nancy, and Jeff Britt.

Thanks to all who displayed their creative talents. See you all next Halloween!
