Commuters in our region are realizing that catching the bus is easy, convenient and a solution to their daily commute. Gas prices are increasing once again, commuting distances are longer, and more people are riding the bus than ever before. Why pay those high gas prices at the pump? There is a solution for soaring gas prices: Ride the Bus and use RFTA’s gas. Jump aboard and save money.

Riding the bus is easy and now more convenient than ever with extended service hours. RFTA provides half-hour service throughout the Roaring Fork Valley during the extended commuter hours. For significant portions of the day, valley buses are running every 30 minutes from Glenwood to communities both up- and downvalley, from Rifle to Aspen and Snowmass. Ride Glenwood Springs operates Monday through Sunday until 10 p.m., making it more convenient to dine at restaurants throughout town.People are finding the bus to be a good way to get to work. Thanks to everyone who commutes by riding the bus – you are saving yourself money, reducing your stress and improving quality of life for everyone in our valley.

The bus system, both local and regional, is perfect for commute and noncommute trips. It is convenient, affordable and less stressful. You never have to find a parking place, and you’ll always be on time.Think differently. Use RFTA’s gas to get around.
