Saloon night

Saloon Night a successI would like to thank everyone for their hard work and dedication to making our second annual Saloon Night benefit a success. Thanks to our table sponsors: Community Bank of Basalt, Isberian Rug Co., Roaring Fork Land Co. and Daly Property Services, who allowed us to hold a exciting event. Thank you to our food and ad sponsors: the town of Basalt, Valley Lumber, and Brad Elliott Architect. Rick and his staff at Two Rivers cafe did a great job with the food and drink. Audrey’s bartending was outstanding, as were the waitresses’.Thanks to the Roaring Fork Golf Club, Primavera Restaurant, Dr. Herschel Ross, the Aspen Skiing Co., Roaring Fork Physical Therapy, Dexter Pettit, Basalt Recreation, the Veranda Collection and Movieland for donating such wonderful prizes. Cowboy Randy of KDNK did a great job promoting our event, and Kyle and Ron at KMTS put together a exciting ad campaign for us, as did KSPN, The Aspen Times, The Valley Journal, and Access Roaring Fork. The GSPI did a fantastic job getting the word out for us. Steve of Access Roaring Fork, who recorded the event for us, made a special effort. To see how much fun we had, tune into Channel 16.I would also like to thank all of the people who attended and kept the tables full all night with their gaming skills. A special thank-you to those of you who got in the spirit of things by dressing in costume. A very big thanks goes out to Michael Adams, of Marcus Morton Productions, and his dealers for providing us with great casino games. We will swing open the Saloon Doors next year with a more expanded event as we “raise the Arbaney Barn” into a museum. (311)Diana C.
