The city of Glenwood Springs is happy to announce that free Ride Glenwood Springs will now be heading south. Our new bus route to South Glenwood will begin Tuesday, May 1, and operate during the weekdays to provide service to residents along Midland Avenue south of 27th Street. The South Glenwood route is planned to operate with 30-minute frequency from the Roaring Fork Marketplace to Cardiff Glen subdivision. The bus will run eight hours per day, from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m Monday through Friday. This route is Photo:13605264,left; planned to be operated with a 15-passenger van until ridership requires more capacity. Please note: There are no changes to the current Ride Glenwood Springs service. Ride Glenwood Springs will continue to remain free to all riders and operate on the same fixed route through the city from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily with 30-minute frequency. This new route conveniently connects with the current Ride Glenwood route as well as with the upvalley and downvalley RFTA buses at the Roaring Fork Marketplace. Instead of driving all over town transporting your family, put them on the bus, reduce the number of trips you make in your vehicle and take some time for yourself. The schedule is easy, convenient and can take you all over town.
