Sports sale a success

Once again, the Mount Sopris Nordic Council had a great sports sale a few weeks ago at the CRMS gym. The sale, which directly benefits the Spring Gulch cross-country trail system near Carbondale, set a record for dollar volume of sales. This success is due largely to the participation of our local retailers including Ajax Bike and Sport, Vagneur Enterprises, Bristlecone Mountain Sports, Mountain Soles, Heidi Hats, Tucker Sports, Monte Sports, Scott Riley Sports, Ken’s Hockey, Indigo Sports, Mt. Royal Trading and Aaron Humphrey. Thanks also to the media, which helped us get the word out, including: KDNK, Sopris Surfers and all of our local papers. Too numerous to mention by name, the volunteers are key to the success of the sale. A special “thank-you” for your continued support and the time you have given. Also, thanks to all of those who attended the sale. And don’t forget CRMS, who graciously lets us use their gym for the event. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year. In the meantime, we hope to see you on the trails at Spring Gulch.Sincerely,Mark Chainsports sale coordinatorMount Sopris Nordic Council
