The Knights of Columbus is sponsoring an authentic corned beef and cabbage dinner from 4-7 p.m. St. Patrick’s Day, Saturday March 17, at St. Stephen’s Catholic School, located at 414 S. Hyland Park Dr. in Glenwood Springs. The meal will be prepared by Kurt and Elsbeth Wigger from the Buffalo Valley Restaurant. Come on out for the best Irish cooking this side of Killarney.
St. Vincent Catholic Church is hosting its annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner from 5-8 p.m. Friday, March 16, at the church. Enjoy corned beef or roast beef with cabbage and potatoes. An assortment of cakes and pies will be served with coffee. Volunteers are always welcome for serving, setup and cleanup. For more information, call Lillan at 927-3527.
The American Legion Post #100, located at 97 Third St. in Carbondale, will be hosting its annual corned beef and cabbage dinner and dance from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, March 17. A DJ will be playing until midnight to add to the fun. Members, guests and the public are invited to attend.
Land Rover Roaring Fork will hold a St. Patrick’s Day Rally for all Land rover owners from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 17, at 52876 Two Rivers Plaza Road in Glenwood Springs, adjacent to the Caverns tramway.
The public is invited for fun and refreshments and to watch this fun spectator event. Land Rover owners are encouraged to contact Mark Murray at Land Rover Roaring Fork, 945-4600 to participate.
Four challenging courses will be set up to test the owners’ knowledge of their cars. Blindfolded Autocross, Land Rover Service Drive, Teeter Totter and Barrel Racing for cars are included. Teams of two will compete for fabulous prizes.

The Elks Club in West Glenwood is serving up corned beef and cabbage, green beer and more St. Patrick’s Day amenities on Saturday, March 17. Cowboy Attitude will entertain from 8 p.m. to midnight.
