Thanks football

Injured football player was in safe handsLast weekend, our family traveled from Sterling to Rifle for the state championship football game. During the first quarter of the game, our son Shane received a back injury. We just want to thank the staff at Grand River Medical Center for their wonderful care and concern for our son. A special thanks to Dr. Darcy Selenke, the orthopaedic surgeon who came to the hospital, the emergency room nursing staff, the radiologist, the x-ray tech, and the admitting department. Also, a big thank-you to the paramedics who handled our son with extreme care and the ambulance driver who drove so carefully. We could not have asked for better treatment. You have a wonderful community, and it’s nice to know that there are still a lot of wonderful people in this world, especially during the holiday season. Thanks again.Michael and Vicki GertnerSterling
