2016 Energy Smart Contractor Expo set
Building and mechanical contractors, architects, real estate professionals, property managers, materials suppliers and anyone interested in energy efficiency can learn about the latest trends at the 2016 Energy Smart Contractor Expo, set for March 17 in Glenwood Springs.
The one-day event will include an expo with 20 suppliers and installers showcasing their energy efficiency and renewable energy products and services. Energy utilities will update contractors on their incentive programs for 2016.
In addition to the expo, there will be seven 45-minute workshops throughout the day that participants can attend. The event includes plenty of break time for visiting the booths and networking.
A special training session for Realtors, lenders and appraisers on the Home Energy Score will also be offered, with continuing education credits for Realtors.
The expo is set for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, at Colorado Mountain College, 1402 Blake Ave. in Glenwood Springs. Admission is $15 in advance or $20 at the door, and covers the workshops, expo booths, morning refreshments and lunch.
