Bus routes set for Grand Avenue bridge closure

RFTA is a major partner in our detour planning. Beginning on Aug. 14, the transit authority will offer extended service to Parachute and will debut new shuttle routes to make it easier to drive less.

For the duration of the bridge closure, the Hogback bus between Parachute and Glenwood Springs will be free, as will the three downtown Glenwood Springs shuttles. For destinations beyond the Glenwood Springs 27th Street Station (to CMC, Carbondale, El Jebel, Basalt, Snowmass Village and Aspen) riders will have to pay a fare at the 27th Street Station in Glenwood Springs. All services are seven days per week.
