Grand River Health Welcomes New Chief Financial Officer

Grand River Health is pleased to welcome Cristina Bolin as Chief Financial Officer. Bolin comes to Grand River Health from Delta Memorial Hospital in Arkansas where she served as CFO since 2009.

Bolin received her MBA from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas and has more than 15 years in management and finance.

She has a passion for Colorado, its people and its climate, and was drawn to Grand River Health because of its culture of innovation and quality.

Grand Valley veterans’ coffee

The Rifle Senior Center will host the first weekly coffee for Grand Valley veterans on Tuesday, July 12, at 9 a.m. This first coffee will be a meet and greet for any veteran who wants to get to know other veterans, or who may need help with veteran-related challenges. We’d like to meet every Tuesday so come to the first one and meet your fellow veterans. Please call 970-665-9088 or email millerjay@comcast.net with any questions.

Movies under the stars

The annual “movies under the stars” continues at the Grand Valley Recreation Center, located at 398 Arroyo Drive in Battlement Mesa.

All movies will begin at sundown and are free to all. Popcorn and soda will be sold by local school and church groups. “Star Wars” is the next movie. It will be screened July 15.

Bilingual Storytime

This summer, select Wednesday storytimes at the Silt Branch Library will be a bilingual storytime. Children age 2-6 are welcome to join Ms. Camilla on a bilingual adventure through books and songs to learn reading and Spanish vocabulary at 10 a.m. July 13, 27.
