Dorothy Jean Stoneman (Dec. 14, 1923 — June 30, 2017)

Dorothy passed away peacefully June 30th, while in the care of “her angels” at the E.D. Moore Care Center. Dorothy moved to Rifle from the Denver area after the death of her first husband. Shortly after, she found true love again and married Jim Stoneman. Dorothy is survived by stepdaughter Judy (Lee) Martens, stepson Jimmy Stoneman, grandson Robert (Lynn) Stroud, granddaughter Tamra Stroud, grandson Jimmy (Stephanie) Martens, and granddaughter Ann (John) Gallivan. Also, great-grandsons Alex Stroud, and Corbin Gallivan, and great-granddaughters Adelaide and Macy Stoneman and Bryn Gallivan. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, one brother and five sisters, her first husband Robert E.B. Stroud, son Bruce G. Stroud, daughter-in-law Sharron Stroud, and second husband Jim Stoneman. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Services will be held at a later date. ln lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the E.D. Moore Care Center.
