Frieda Emma Mathes ((05/28/1931 — 1/6/2019)

Frieda Emma Mathes passed away after a long battle with Dementia and Parkinson’s disease. Frieda also know as Friday, was born in Livingingston Manor, New York, the daughter of James Pritakis and Jenny Hubech. Frieda was preceded in death by her daughter, Connie Riley.

Frieda grew up in upstate New York and Florida. Friday owned a Health Food Store and a Nail Salon in South Florida. She was a pioneer in starting one of the first Health Food stores in South Florida during the 1970s. Her business was frequented by a number of Miami Dolphins.

Frieda is survived by her partner Alexander Mathes, Son Guy Meyer and Grandchildren Zachary Meyer, Erin Ruark and Solei Solver. Two Great-Grandchildren, Eileen Hannesson and Serenity Ruark.



Friday was a free spirit and will be missed.
