Garfield County Sheriff’s Office Crime Report – Aug. 22, 2013

Editor’s note: The Rifle Police Department and Garfield County Sheriff’s Office reports the following incidents and arrests. Summonses or arrests merely indicate an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless found guilty in court.

Order violation arrest: Deputies responded to a call on Horizon Circle in Battlement Mesa on Aug. 12 at 5:54 a.m. and arrested Cheyenne Codi Perse, 29, of Battlement Mesa, on suspicion of violation of a restraining order and bond conditions. She was taken to jail.



Warrant arrest: Deputies responded to the 200 block of East Second Street in Rifle on Aug. 13 at 9:49 a.m. and arrested Darian Andrew Sigmon, 33, of Rifle, on an active arrest warrant. He was taken to jail.

Harassment: Deputies responded to a call on County Road 252 outside Rifle on Aug. 13 at 10:39 p.m. and arrested Tammy Jo Murphy, 56, of Rifle, on suspicion of harassment. She was taken to jail.



Irrigation water dispute: Deputies responded to a call in the 300 block of East Vista Drive outside Silt on Aug. 14 at 7:52 p.m. Lisa Ann Parmelee, 43, of Silt, was issued a summons for allegedly cutting, digging, breaking down, or opening an irrigation water gate. Deputies returned to the same location at 10:58 p.m. and issued Parmelee a summons for harassment.

Harassment: Deputies responded to a call in the 500 block of East Vista Drive on Aug. 15 at 3 p.m. Dacri Lynn Chandler-Davis, 55, of Silt, was issued a summons for harassment.

Domestic violence arrest: Deputies responded to a call 32956 River Frontage Road outside Silt on Aug. 17 at 10:07 a.m. The Rifle Police Department helped locate Edward Neil Bugay, 47, of Silt, who was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, domestic violence, obstruction of phone services, harassment, violation of a restraining order and false imprisonment. He was taken to jail.

Assault arrest: Deputies responded to a call in the 100 block of Morning Star Drive in Battlement Mesa on Aug. 18 at 1:59 a.m. Gunther Boldt, 48, of Battlement Mesa, was arrested on suspicion of third degree assault, domestic violence, obstruction of phone services, violation of a restraining order and false imprisonment. He was taken to jail.

Trespass: Deputies responded to a trespass call on West Bonanza Place in Battlement Mesa on Aug. 19 at 8:39 a.m. The case remains closed/inactive pending further leads.

Traffic arrest: Deputies stopped a vehicle on U.S. Highway 6 east of Rifle on Aug. 19 at 2:10 a.m. for a traffic violation. The driver, Juan Fernando Espinoza-Vazquez, 21, of Nickenson, N.D., was arrested on suspicion of several traffic offenses and an active warrant and taken to jail.

Domestic violence: Deputies responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of Coyote Trail outside Rifle on Aug. 19 at 8:55 p.m. Gary Morris, 36, of Rifle, was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, criminal mischief and third degree assault and taken to jail.

Disturbance leads to arrest: Deputies responded to a disturbance on County Road 233 outside Rifle on Aug. 19 at 10:44 p.m. Sophia Rae Fetterhoff, 28, of Glenwood Springs, was arrested on suspicion of theft, criminal mischief, driving with a revoked license and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was taken to jail.
