Garfield County Sheriff’s Office Crime Report – Dec. 12, 2013
Editor’s note: The Garfield County Sheriff’s Office reports the following incidents and arrests. Summonses or arrests merely indicate an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless found guilty in court.
Domestic violence: Deputies responded to a disturbance on Jessica Lane outside Parachute on Dec. 4 at 10:51 p.m. Tydis J. Tsinigine, 32, of Parachute, was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, child abuse and third degree assault. He was taken to jail.
Domestic violence: Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance on County Road 214 outside New Castle on Dec. 5 at 8:02 a.m. Joseph Anthony Rodriguez, 32, of New Castle, was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, obstruction of phone services and harassment and taken to jail.
Traffic summons: Deputies stopped a vehicle near County Roads 293 and 210 outside Rifle on Dec. 7 at 8:01 a.m. Tyler Vanbuskirk, 21, of Rifle, was issued a summons for prohibited stopping, standing or parking.
Drug paraphernalia, traffic offense: Deputies stopped a vehicle in the 700 block of Taughenbaugh Boulevard in Rifle on Dec. 7 at 8:19 p.m. Gabriel Joseph Flores, 18, was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia. Monica Mendez, 40, of Rifle, was issued a summons for allegedly allowing an unlicensed minor to drive.
Warrant arrest: Deputies stopped a vehicle near County Roads 333 and 352 outside Rifle on Dec. 7 at 11:02 a.m. Sergio Esteban Ramirez, 26, of Rifle, was arrested on an active warrant and on suspicion of a traffic offense and was taken to jail.
Stolen plate: Deputies took a report of a stolen license plate in the 800 block of West Battlement Parkway in Battlement Mesa on Dec. 8 at 8:34 a.m. The case is inactive/closed pending further leads.
Harassment: Deputies responded to a disturbance in the 100 block of Mineral Springs Circle in Battlement Mesa on Dec. 8 at 6:25 p.m. Kimberly Bron, 56, of Battlement Mesa, and Benjamin Nicholas Deringer, 21, of Battlement Mesa, were both issued summonses for harassment.
Harboring a runaway: Deputies assisted Parachute police with a runaway juvenile incident in the 100 block of Smokey Hill Circle in Battlement Mesa on Dec. 10 at 1:34 p.m. Mlisa Darlene Anderson, 47, of Battlement Mesa, was issued a summons for harboring a runaway minor.
