Garfield County Sheriff’s Office Crime Report – June 26, 2014
Editor’s note: The Garfield County Sheriff’s Office reports the following incidents and arrests. Summonses or arrests merely indicate an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless found guilty in court.
Warrant arrest: Deputies contacted a woman in the 100 block of Horizon Circle in Battlement Mesa on June 12 at 8:43 p.m. Laura Frances Candow, 43, of Battlement Mesa, was arrested on an active warrant and taken to jail.
Traffic arrest: Deputies made a traffic stop in the eastbound lanes of I-70 near Rifle on June 13 at 12:05 a.m. Dale Jackson Scarrow, 35, of Cedar Ridge, Colo., was arrested on suspicion of driving with a revoked license and was taken to jail.
Warrant arrest: Deputies responded to an agency assist near County Road 237 and Lafrenz Circle outside Silt on June 15 at 11:32 a.m. Taylor Maculley Webb, 20, of Rifle, was arrested on an active warrant and taken to jail.
Traffic arrest: Deputies responded to a motorist assist in the westbound lanes of I-70 outside Silt on June 16 at 10:44 a.m. Christopher Paul Solano, 40, of Pueblo, was arrested on suspicion of failure to have a valid vehicle registration of proof of insurance and driving with a revoked license. He was taken to jail.
Domestic violence: Deputies responded to a call on Morning Star Drive in Battlement Mesa on June 19 at 4:38 a.m. Andrew Ray Anderson, 22, of De Beque, was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, third degree assault, obstruction of phone services and false imprisonment. He was taken to jail.
Brush fire: Deputies responded to a brush fire in the 200 block of Tamarisk Trail in Battlement Mesa on June 20 at 11:39 p.m. The case is closed/inactive pending further leads.
Traffic summons: Deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding on County Road 346 outside Silt on June 21 at 8:43 a.m. Reanna Elaine Kading, 24, of Silt, was issued a summons for allegedly driving while his ability was impaired and speeding.
Domestic violence: Deputies investigated a complaint on County Road 335 outside New Castle on June 21 at 1:04 a.m. James D. Pattangall, 28, of Silt, was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and third degree assault and was taken to jail.
Pot, traffic summons: Deputies stopped a person in a vehicle in the 800 block of Railroad Avenue in Rifle on June 24 at 10:10 p.m. Morgan Brea Buss, 18, of Rifle, was issued a summons for possession of suspected marijuana, having expired license plates, failure to provide proof of insurance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
DUI: Deputies responded to a call in the 200 block of Tamarisk Trail in Battlement Mesa on June 24 at 1:58 a.m. Travis Louis Johnson, 31, of Battlement Mesa, was arrested on suspicion of DUI, domestic violence, driving with an excessive alcohol content, with a revoked license and harassment. He was taken to jail.
Parole violation: Deputies responded to a call in the 200 block of County Road 333 outside Rifle on June 24 at 4:36 p.m. Summer Elizabeth Provenzano, 34, of Rifle, was arrested on suspicion of a parole violation and taken to jail.
