Warrant arrest: Deputies contacted a vehicle on Colorado Highway 13 outside Rifle Text ColorSwatch/NoneStrokeStyle/$ID/SolidText ColorSwatch/NoneStrokeStyle/$ID/SolidText ColorText ColorText ColorText Coloron June 18 at 3:24 p.m. A passenger, James Steven Snyder, 27, of Rifle, was arrested on an active warrant and taken to jailText ColorSwatch/NoneStrokeStyle/$ID/SolidText ColorSwatch/NoneStrokeStyle/$ID/SolidText ColorText ColorText ColorText Color.

Trespass/theft: Deputies responded to a trespass and theft on County Road 301 outside Parachute on June 19 at 7:50 a.m. The case is closed and inactive pending further evidence.

Theft: Deputies responded to a theft on Wintergreen Way near Parachute on June 19 at 3:44 p.m. The case is closed and inactive pending further evidence.

Fake plates: Deputies contacted a vehicle in the 100 block of East 26th Street in Rifle on June 19 at 11:09 a.m. for allegedly having fictitious plates. Wesley Calvin Wilson, 36, of New Castle, was issued a summons for failure to provide proof of insurance and having an invalid license plate.

Sexual assault: On June 20 at 11:16 p.m., deputies received a report of a sex assault that occurred in the Parachute area. This case is under investigation.

DUI: Deputies stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation near West Fourth Street and West Avenue in Rifle on June 20 at 1:08 a.m. Jessica Myone Widmer, 24, of Text ColorSwatch/NoneStrokeStyle/$ID/SolidText ColorSwatch/NoneStrokeStyle/$ID/SolidText ColorText ColorText ColorText ColorRifle, was arrested on suspicion of DUI, violation of a restraining order and having an open alcoholic beverage in a vehicle. She was taken to jail.

Harassment: Deputies responded to a harassment call at the Garfield County ComText ColorSwatch/NoneStrokeStyle/$ID/SolidText ColorSwatch/NoneStrokeStyle/$ID/SolidText ColorText ColorText ColorText Colormunity Corrections building, 244 Hunter Mesa Shop Road, outside Rifle on June 20 at 7:04 p.m. Daniel Warby, 22, of Rifle, was arrested on suspicion of harassment and domestic violence and taken to jail.

Sexual assault: On June 21 at 3:35 p.m., deputies received a report of a sex assault which allegedly occurred in the Battlement Mesa area. The case is under investigation.

Underage possession of alcohol: Deputies contacted a vehicle for a motorist assist on Colorado Highway 13 outside Rifle on June 22 at 2:18 a.m. William Fitzsimmons, 20, of Silt, and three juveniles from Silt and New Castle were issued summonses for illegal possession or consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Theft: Deputies investigated a theft on Bristlecone Court in Battlement Mesa on June 23 at 1:55 p.m. The case is closed and inactive pending further evidence.

Harassment: Deputies responded to a Text ColorSwatch/NoneStrokeStyle/$ID/SolidText ColorSwatch/NoneStrokeStyle/$ID/SolidText ColorText ColorText ColorText Colorcall on County Road 226 outside Rifle on June 23 at 1:49 a.m. Robin L. Foss, 48, of Silt, was arrested on suspicion of harassment and taken to jailText ColorSwatch/NoneStrokeStyle/$ID/SolidText ColorSwatch/NoneStrokeStyle/$ID/SolidText ColorText ColorText ColorText Color.

DUI: Deputies responded to a traffic complaint in the eastbound lanes of I-70 near Silt on June 23 at 6:31 p.m. The driver, Kaitlin Alexandra Hurt, 26, of Denver, was arrested on suspicion of DUI and other Text ColorSwatch/NoneStrokeStyle/$ID/SolidText ColorSwatch/NoneStrokeStyle/$ID/SolidText ColorText ColorText ColorText Coloralcohol-related offenses, failure to drive in a single lane, failure to provide proof of insurance and having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle. She was taken to jailText ColorSwatch/NoneStrokeStyle/$ID/SolidText ColorSwatch/NoneStrokeStyle/$ID/SolidText ColorText ColorText ColorText Color.

Domestic violence: Deputies responded to a complaint on Aspen Way in Battlement Text ColorSwatch/NoneStrokeStyle/$ID/SolidText ColorSwatch/NoneStrokeStyle/$ID/SolidText ColorText ColorText ColorText ColorMesa on June 23 at 10:35 p.m. Danelle Rachel Kelley, 33, of Battlement Mesa, was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and third degree assault and taken to jail.
