Garfield County Sheriff’s Office Crime Report – Nov. 7, 2013

Editor’s note: The Garfield County Sheriff’s Office reports the following incidents and arrests. Summonses or arrests merely indicate an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless found guilty in court.

Theft: Deputies took a report of a trespass and theft on Oct. 29 at 9:27 a.m. The case is closed pending further leads.

Theft: Deputies responded to the report of a theft on U.S. Highway 6 east of Rifle on Oct. 30 at 7:10 p.m. and found that a building had also been damaged. The case is closed pending further leads.

DUI: Deputies took a report of a harassment on County Road 338 outside Parachute on Oct. 31 at 1:10 p.m. Patrick Lee Woodhouse, 49, of Parachute, was arrested on suspicion of DUI, having an open alcoholic beverage in his vehicle and harassment. He was taken to jail.

Warrant arrest: Deputies contacted a man at Garfield County Community Corrections, 244 Hunter Mesa Shop Road outside Rifle, on Oct. 31 at 4:53 p.m. for a warrant. Ivan Andrade, 22, of El Jebel, was arrested and taken to jail.
