Live Well photo exhibit at the Rifle Branch Library
More than 20 photos, taken by area residents of all ages, show some of the good and bad areas of Garfield County that either promote or discourage healthy living. The photos are on display through November at the Rifle Branch Library.
LiveWell Garfield County, a nine-year initiative funded by LiveWell Colorado, gave disposable cameras to a dozen residents in March, with the assignment of taking photos related to healthy eating and active living. The local program is focused on addressing the reduction and prevention of obesity, with a special focus on low-income families and Hispanic populations.
