Maddalone takes over as chamber CEO

Andrea Maddalone is a wanted woman in Rifle.
But not in the unlawful kind of way. Over the past several years, Maddalone has worked for two major employers in Rifle — the Rifle Area Chamber of Commerce and Grand River Health.
She is now back at the chamber, as the president and CEO, and will assume her duties as of March 23.
“First and foremost, I want the chamber to be significant in the community,” Maddalone said. “I’ve always loved the chamber — it’s always been in my heart.”
Maddalone previously worked as the member/visitor services representative for the chamber for six years from 2005-2011.
She then took a job with Grand River Health, working in the community relations department.
But now she returns to her roots at the Rifle Area Chamber of Commerce.
“I am very excited for Andrea to be our new CEO,” said Nita Smith, past chair of the Rifle Area Chamber of Commerce board. “She brings experience, energy and enthusiasm to our chamber, along with being a lifetime resident of the area. She has a great rapport with our businesses and community.”
Maddalone is married to Thomas Maddalone, who is the safety coordinator for Holy Cross Energy. The couple have a 4-year-old son, Beau.
“I’m very much excited about this job, and I’m ready to hit the ground running,” Maddalone said. “We have a great staff, and I’m ready to get rockin’ and rollin.’
