Obituary: Peggy Ann Wood

Peggy Ann Wood passed away March 27, 2013, at the E. Dene Moore Care Center in Rifle. She was 81.

Peggy was born to Harry and Flora Wood in Louisburg, Kan., the eighth of nine children. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Bob, Phil, Bill, Gail and Jack; and is survived by one brother, May (Gay); sisters, Elizabeth Anderson of Salinas, Calif., June Peterson of Brentwood, Tenn. and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at the Rifle Senior Center Saturday, April 13. Officiating will be Pastor Glen Gardener of Bethel Baptist Church in Rifle, where Peggy was a member.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rifle Senior Center, where Peggy will be missed by her many friends.
