Patsy Ann Parker

Patsy was born August 3, 1933, to Paul & Wilma Miller in Lesterville, MO, passing away in Rifle, CO, April 28, 2016.

Her family moved to Tempe, AZ, then to Silt, CO, where she grew up. She attended Rifle High School and married Corky Wilson in 1950. They had 3 children: Debbie, Michael, and Kenny. This marriage ended, and Patsy began work as a candy striper at the local hospital, later becoming a lab technician for several doctors in Rifle.

In 1972 she married Don Parker. Electing to change careers, she got her real estate license and worked for Rifle Realty until she retired. Patsy was vivacious and beautiful and a true game lover. She loved playing cards, dice games, bowling, pool, horseshoes, and of course, the slot machines. She & Don enjoyed snow machining, dancing, socializing with friends and neighbors, and enjoying life for the next 44 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Bill Miller, sons Michael (died in infancy) and Kenny. Surviving are husband Don, daughter Debbie (Pete) Klusmire, granddaughter, Kasie Fritzlan; sisters Paula (Bernie) Lindgren of Scottsdale, AZ; Saranell (Larry) Proffit of Ironton, MO; nieces, nephews and many friends.

Patsy was an outgoing, artistic and charming woman. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered.

Memorial and celebration of her life will be at the Rifle Elks Lodge on May 15 at 1:00 p.m.
